Instagram is fine-tuning the feature, which is expected to facilitate connections among users with similar interests. It’s also anticipated to be a useful tool for brands, providing them with a new way to showcase their products.

However, there are concerns about the potential for this feature to make profiles appear cluttered, a scenario Instagram has been trying to avoid. The final decision on whether and when to release this new profile Collections feature is still pending, with the platform continuously developing and accessing its impact.
