Microsoft, a renowned technology giant, is intensifying its focus on Microsoft Copilot Pro, an AI-powered assistance system. Launched alongside Windows last year, Microsoft Copilot Pro has rapidly gained popularity, boasting over 5 billion interactions. To commemorate this success, Microsoft is introducing Copilot Pro, an advanced version of the original. This premium edition is designed to integrate with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, offering users access to more sophisticated AI capabilities.

The premium service, Copilot Pro, is priced at $20 per month, which is approximately Rs 1600 in India. This cost is in addition to the existing Microsoft 365 Personal or Home subscription. One of the key features of Copilot Pro is its compatibility across various platforms, including iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and iPad devices.

Upon subscribing to Copilot Pro, customers will unlock an array of generative AI functionalities. These include the capability to create PowerPoint presentations from simple prompts, to summarize and rephrase text in Word, analyze and visualize data in Excel, and compose and respond to emails in Outlook.com. Additionally, Copilot Pro introduces the opportunity for users to develop their own Copilot GPT, utilizing the latest OpenAI models.

The premium Copilot Pro subscription encompasses several groundbreaking features:

1. An AI assistant that is adaptive to user needs and circumstances, functioning seamlessly across mobile devices, PCs, applications, and web browsers.

2. Early access to the newest and most potent models, such as OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo, enables enhanced and more rapid outcomes. There’s also the forthcoming option to switch between multiple models to better align with user preferences.

3. Enhanced AI-driven image creation through Picture Creator from Designer (formerly Bing Image Creator), promising more creative control, faster processing, and superior image quality.

4. The upcoming feature of Copilot GPT Builder, which will allow users to construct their own customized Copilots tailored to specific subjects, using just a few simple questions.

In addition to these features, Microsoft is expanding Copilot’s capabilities by introducing Copilot GPTs. This new feature enables users to personalize Copilot’s responses and suggestions based on specific interests like food, travel, fitness, and more. These enhancements represent Microsoft’s commitment to leading in the AI space, offering users innovative tools that enhance productivity and creativity across various applications and platforms.
